BSA is wholly owned and managed by John Beaver, Ph.D., a noted aquatic
ecologist specializing in North American lake water quality. Dr. Beaver has
authored approximately 40 referred journal articles related to aquatic
microbiology and limnology in the scientific literature. As president and
principal scientist, Dr. Beaver has over 25 years experience in the
environmental sciences, including zooplankton and algae taxonomy, and has
provided expert guidance to industry in issues pertaining to pollution
prevention strategy, biomonitoring and compliance with environmental
regulations. Dr. Beaver is a member of the following professional associations:

Florida Lake Management Society
North American Lake Management Society
International Society of Limnology
BSA maintains a multidisciplinary professional staff consisting of aquatic
ecologists, chemists, microbiologists, and environmental scientists. We have
extensive experience in aquatic biology, toxicology, limnology, environmental
sciences, and biological statistics for both environmental and industrial
applications. Our staff uses their knowledge, skills, and experience to address
a wide range of environmental issues facing government, industry, and private
